When I met Dominic in 2007, he was always working on old bikes that friends of his had in the garage, bringing them back to life. Back then, he stamped each bike with a SPIN AGN sticker. He’d take an old frame, paint it, clear coat it, swap out old parts, pop new parts on the bike, and voila! An old bike spins again.
Fast forward to 2013, Dominic opens a bike shop and cool old bikes end up at the shop to be restored. Each bike has a story that goes along with it, and Dominic always enjoys bringing each bike back to life.
A restoration involves rebuilding the bike, frame saving it because bikes rust from the inside out. The metals are polished and the rust is buffed out with steel wool. The frame is then clear coated to save the vintage integrity.
Here are a few of the bikes we have restored since we opened the shop.
