Happy Bike Month!
- I was on WVXU last week along with Frank Henson of Queen City Bike and Steve Magas, the Ohio Bike Lawyer. We talked a lot about bicycling in the city and some other Bike Month events going on this month. If you missed it, you can hear the broadcast here.
- Our Ride for Reading book delivery was so so good. We had over 50 bicyclists from all over the city show up to help deliver 3000 books to Parker Woods Montessori school in Northisde. Oh my gosh. It was so awesome. We even had WCPO show up and cover the event. It was so awesome and amazing and of course I cried like I do every year. Later on in the day as I was out riding my bike, soaking in the day, I realized we had folks representing 6 different local bike shops on the ride and it made me so happy to have our bicycling community come to together to make this even extra special. Libby and her Wordplay volunteers were amazing too. It really takes a village to pull off this event.

- The Kona Bicycle Demo at Devou mountain bike trails is canceled. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and the trails are too drenched to ride. That was happening this Friday so if you planned to attend, we have canceled the event and I am sorry. You can see that information here.

- On May 19th we are hosting a Bike To Work Week happy hour at the shop. Stop by for a pizza bite or a buck off draft beers from the Listing Loon next door. All are welcome. RIDE BIKES! Facebook event page here.
- On May 25th come out to the Mercantile Library downtown at 6pm for an evening of lively dialogue and debate featuring panelists from Cincinnati’s cycling scene as we discuss how we can bring a bike friendly future to our city.
