Last July Dominic and I closed on a cute storefront property located, one block down from our current space, at 4033 Hamilton Avenue. It’s been a long time coming. After almost 9 years here at Hoffner Lodge we have decided it is time to move our shop to a new space where we can build a bike shop that can accommodate the kind of work our shop produces. We have had a good run in this space but dumping more money into a space that doesn’t work wasn’t making much sense.
Max Construction Group has been working hard on making this gem shine again!
New gate installed a couple weeks ago.
They demo’ed the storefront, knocked down some walls and removed a kitchen.
Dominic surprised me with the colors.
Last weekend we had a date night inside the space taking measurements and figuring out the lay out of the new shop. We are aiming for triple the tooling area, a wheel building lounge, and much more.
The week of Thanksgiving we will be shutting down operations so we can focus on the build out of our new shop space. We will be available via text, email and voicemails but it’s going to be limited to checking these a few times a week. Dominic is finishing up 4 big projects and various minor repairs. We want to be able to have a soft opening in our new home by the end of January and we have so much work to do to make that happen.
We are so excited about this next adventure!
Spun V2 is gonna be so bad ass!
